It's been all go here, though I wish it was work.
Firstly, I've been to see a lot of things at the theatre. Well, one or two, anyway. Rocky Horror Show - always fun. Went to the press/opening night of Deathtrap, starring Simon Russell Beale and Jonathan Groff. 'Twas very good, and
flip18 had great fun celeb spotting ('Yup, that's definitely Stephen Fry'. My God, he's tall.) It was fun spotting all the Groff fangirls, as they reacted to various scenes with him. Okay, I've got an odd sense of humour.
I've been writing a lot recently. I have just finished what I thought was going to be a short piece for a ficathon, which turned into 11.5k words of pure angst, which I'm actually really proud of. I know reviews aren't the be all and end all, as much as some people may think, but when you get people saying that yours was their favorite of the ficathon... yeah, I'm happy. What was it? A situational Inception crossover with Glee. If you want to read it, I'm starting to put all my fic here.
And I've just bought a Kindle, yay! One of the new 3G/Wi-fi ones. I shall probably call it Arthur. I know I have trips to Scotland etc coming up soon, and to be able to take that instead of four/five books, or scrounge off my mother and her tastes... it works for me.
