What is it about him? For ages I have been a confirmed Philip fangirl - I mean - my icons just say it all. Sam was sweet, but just didn't do it for me. He was acting really close to me in Elling (and when I mean really close, I mean, REALLY CLOSE. For those who have seen it, you know when he changes from his PJ, and he is in his skivvies? Yeah that close) but I just thought Elling was cute, not sexy.

2 and a half minutes on Dr Who and I turn into a slavering John Simm girl. WHY? I can't get enough icons, all the cat macros from [ profile] ihasatardis I find wonderful - after two minutes on screen!

Maybe I have a thing for the Master?

Two tickets to see Elling at the discounted rate of £25. Go with a group from TRA!

I have booked a block of 10 tickets to see Elling on Wednesday 3rd October at 2.30pm. I have 7 guaranteed (probably 8) takers for these, which leaves me with 2 tickets spare. Row D 8-17. End of the run, so who knows, if John knows we are going, he might come down during the break.

Anyone interested? Remember, full price these are £42.50 (sorry, I'm not paying full price for John, especially when I have seen it once - Phil I would sell my soul for)

I have been in London all day, seeing Elling. What fun! More tomorrow, when I wake up a bit

And it looks like I might be going to see Marshall in Wuthering Heights in a short time...

So there I was, having a quiet Sunday afternoon. Get some fic written, chill out, enjoy the start of my week off work. Then I go onto TRA (The Railway Arms) forums. And what I see posted there for our visual enjoyment basically robbed me of any coherent thought, and turned me in a dribbling puddle on the floor.

I have finally finished watching State of Play (

As TV drama/thrillers go, this was absolutely fantastic - kept you gripped all the way through with excellent performances. Bill Nighy never puts a foot wrong, ever. David Morrisey is superb. John Simm is rapidly becoming one of Britain's best actors. The ever gorgeous Phil Glenister.

So what do I hear? Hollywood want to use the concept, and have lined Brad Pitt up for the role of Cal. Cal. John Simm.
