Actual progress!
May. 23rd, 2006 11:15 amYesterday proved quite interesting, though I didn’t do too much.
First of all helped Aldric work off the latent on his gun of trials for a couple of hours, fighting stuff in Cape Terrigan. Brought out my npc, who reached level 55 yay! I still want to eventually cap her at 65, but that will take time.
After a break, a group of us headed to Boneyard Gully to do the Sheep in Antlion’s Clothing ENM. I love this ENM, it is fun, and actually quite easy. Drops were shockingly bad, worth about 2k lol, but fun and easy 2.5k xp (not to be sniffed at) is always worth it. We kinda decided we would do this one regularly, which is great – I want to set up regular ENM runs anyway; this one, Brothers (if people can go get the key item), Test Your Mite and maybe the bugbby one – all free xp and a chance of cash.
Anyway, after this, it was time to blow all that xp I had gained. It was our linkshell leaders 21st birthday on Saturday, so to get him a birthday present, we decided on the one thing an aspiring summoner needs – Diabolos. Set up was 4 blm, 1 rdm/drk and 1 rng (Marius). First time we tried him, I lagged and we got nightmared just as I used my 2 hour >.<. Decided to try again with a set stun order, which was working fine till someone missed a stun, but we got him to 21%. Ok – one last time… He managed to nightmare us, but one stayed awake, so a swift curaga and it was game on. Though bio was kicking our arses, everyone just concentrated on killing him – finally doing it with all of us dead or in the red.. We cured Mar outside when he had about 5hp left, and it was like that for most of us – but we were all happy to beat him! I can now summon all the avatars in the game now – actually looking forward to going back to levelling summoner…
