Nov. 28th, 2010 10:15 pmAh. The weekend of Professor Sir Terry Pratchett. Once again, Hogswatch was upon us!
Snow was forecast, but thankfully there wasn't much of it, though got pic of Stonehenge with just a little bit of snow around (why, yes, I do love living fifteen miles from one of the most recognisable landmarks in the country).
We arrived in time for the Blessing of the Sword (as a knight of the realm, Sir Terry is entitled to his own sword), then the 'entertainment'. I use the term loosely, of course, but it was amusing, especially the Twelve Days of Hogswatch...
The Cunning Artificer was visited, and money was spent (I'm physically incapable of coming away without anything from there). Caught up with old friends, delivered a wedding present ten years late (just... don't), and made new friends in the evening.
Sunday was more time with the friends that came with us yesterday, and we went to Winchester for the farmers market (yummy yummy food) and the fantastic Christmas fair they have in the Cathedral grounds every year. All in all, a brilliant weekend.
