Last night's Robin Hood

Oh Guy. Just when I think you can't do any better, you wrench sheer emotion out of me (and not just frustration). When you have no one to impress, when you can't fall any further, and you've accepted you are going to die, and are going to hell, you prove in one act what Marian saw in you - that you are a good man somewhere in there. You have nothing to gain by your plea to Isabella, and yet you did it anyway - purely to allow an innocent girl to live. *wibble*. Shut up, yes I cried yesterday.

This? This is what I wanted to see. Guy/Meg was the singularly most awesome thing about yesterdays ep. This is a man who hasn't necessarily moved on from Marian - he has serious remorse about her seeing another side of him, and then him destroying her (not killed, destroyed. Interesting choice of phrase there), but he understandably reached out to someone who showed a little faith in him - and it wasn't anyone evil.

And then she died. *cries*

And the Robin/Much/Kate farce? I just wanted to huggle much, and slap Kate and Robin kthxbai.

Ok, at the end of the day, I half want to canon update Guy at H&M, but I'm not sure. Whatever happens it will wait for a decision till this season is over. Manda has told me she's bringing Isabella in from the middle of this ep, so the dynamics at H&M are going to be so weird. Plus. Meg. Yeah. My poor pup is gonna be a confused bunny. But on the other hand, I like the place he's in, with Marian there, and no outright hostility from Robin (much), and Vaisey alive, because... yeah, S2 was fantastic, and I've had issues with S3. But if they are seriously going to redeem Guy, it's going to be hard to resist.
