After a Dynamis run, we decided to let our hair down. Level 1 alliance vs the most Notorious of them all, Bubbly Bernie.

Playing about in Sea with four others - we probabaly shouldn't have been able to take it on, but hehehe it was fun!
Gravity always fascinates me, as does any spell really, especially when it is cast on something huge - I caught this one as a screenie just because...
Beseiged time. There weren't many people there, and it meant you could see the mobs very clearly without so much lag...
This was the third of the mass beseiged after one maintenance. We had one general left, and the protectors kinda got wiped out...
I was so pleased when SE finally added old school FF bombs. First one I saw was this one in besieged. Amazingly he didn't blow, but his burn SUCKED. I have since fought some more in Halvung, in a somewhat crazy expedition with a friend (we were really really deep in).
This was the start of a good day for me. My blm finally hit 55, did most of 54 solo.
Dynamis-Jeuno. 2 AF2 in the treasure pool is unheard of - was our best run for AF, with 5 in total... Saintsfan claimed he would never get any, it always falls when he isn't there. Well, there ya go!
This pic tells you that we cleared it. What it doesn't tell you is that it was Konoha's first ever clear, and we did it with only 21 people, and about 25 minutes left. Ok, we were a bit sloppy and didn't realise just how many repops there would be, but even so. And my xp was at about 38k before we started that run...
Tilion and Marius (and Deo on Illion) very kindly helped me fight the NMs for my AF hat (need to store it! Anyway, we killed Guardian Statue, and Marius widescanned - Old Two-Wings was up. And with 2 gilsellers just standing there....
Now just need the damn thing to sell!

Kabbie is back! And with that, that means more chaos caused in the world of Vana'diel. He decided to fight the NMs in Temple of Uggalepih, which included the Carby Mitts NM - as a duo. Damn that was fun...
I think my linkshell has an unhealthy obsession...
I was walking to the Safehold to go to Sea the other day, and saw this. I normally just OP or use my ring, so walking was unusual. I love the Archipelago and the scenery...
I had taken my cooking mule to Sandy because of supplies. This was what greeted my little taru when I walked into North Sandy...

Date: 2006-08-04 03:59 pm (UTC)BLM #1 (Puller) - Stoneskin/Blink/Invis up. Head out and wait till the BST is facing away, cast blind or paralyze on the rarab. Run back to the safe area. Sleep II after its stunned.
BLM #2 (Stunner) - Stun the Hobgoblin's Rarab, and get Sleep 2 ready IF BLM #1's Sleep II fails.
One person be the time caller. Call a time and simultaneously cast Quake or Burst. Quake is nice on Earthsday with Terra Staff (been capping out at 1067 dmg) and Burst is around 966-980. The rarabs have about 1200HP so use your best judgement. I prefer Shaman's Claok over other armor because increased Ele skill means decreased resists. You wanna 1 shot (well, 2 shot actually with 2 BLMs). If you dont kill it right away Stun and Sleep II. Usually Thunder II or Stonega II should finish it off.
I have been doing this for a while because my partner was JPN and although a great partner she leveled while I was at work and surpassed me. At 55 you should be getting 275-300xp without ring.. it's insane. I just hit 58 last night and was still getting 250xp without ring on (and my partner was 56 just getting to 57).
