I am just so tired lately. Definitely taking tonight off from FFXI, possibly only on for a bit over the weekend to do stuff with Ald and crew, and to do stuff for me. I guess I am just fed up - I take the time to organise stuff to help people and get crapped on cause they want something out of it... /sigh
Tuesday I managed to get my buffer back with an xp party at Ulli camp. 6 hours later we got him to pop - to see it kited for 30 mins by a blm/nin while the rest of his ls arrived. Oh well, xp good.
Yesterday was ZM5 and 6 for some of Konoha and my dear friends Teimoli and Syphus. Run round Vana'diel fun. Rather than risk huge amounts of aggro in Ifrit's Cauldron, we came up with the plan that Sethe and I would run through, while the others gathered at the gate. When we got to the area, they fought mobs close to the gate, then took a bunch of venom potions to die. I tractored them up to where we were, while Sethe doled out Raise IIIs. We nearly made it through Ifrits with no trouble till Sethe dced on the last map, next to a bomb. He logged back into die, I used my rr gorget, slept the bomb, Chainspell Raised Sethe, died, then I reraised. Would have had no trouble apart from that.
Sometimes I really detest how people behave. Some members of Konoha were being total dickheads, in front of 2 friends of mine and one of another linkshell. One of my friends really expressed his disgust at some of the actions, and I asked in ls to behave please. This then got into an argument about points, and how people were being denied cause we said we had enough helping (I don't want to drag 10+ people all round Vana'diel please), then another member of the ls kept bugging me as to what my friends were saying - then when I said it was none of his business he was a touch rude... At that point I really just wanted to log off and let them all go to hell, but T and Syph kept me going. But it was really hard, and I have decided if they are all going to act like jerks they can go to hell - I am not gonna waste my time organising stuff. I will get Tei and Syph sky, and Theoa, but if the others are going to be idiots, they don't get my help.
So this weekend when I am on, I will be spending time for me - a couple of ENMs for merit points, Escort Quest with E, maybe some Limbus with Ald, Dyna Sandy, CoP 8-2, and possibly duoing sharks in Sea with E to get his organs.
