Being home has been interesting. I'm improving no end out of hospital, but it brings new challenges. I still can't sit down, which is worrying (I have a wedding to go to next Saturday, it's going to make life fun).

I've grown to appreciate the district nurse service we have in this country. My aunt was one all her career, but I never really took on board what she did. To go into people's houses daily, changing dressings, and doing what they have to do...

I've had my good days and bad days. Yesterday was a bad day, and I got really depressed, but today has been better so far. Guess it's just the way, all things considered. At the doctor's on Tuesday to start working on getting the anemia sorted out, though it'll take time. I'm looking at a gynae referral which will take a while to come through. But baby steps. Baby steps.
