Tenzen and other animals...

kirsteenaSunday was the continuation of our exploits in CoP, and we decided to follow Tenzen’s path. After all the cut scenes, we headed for the 50 cap area of Pso’Xja, entered from the tower on the ice flat in Beaucedine Glacier. For this section you have to go through 16 doors. Easy, yes? Well, no. Each door has a chance of springing a trap and with it a Gargoyle. After the door is open you have around 20 seconds to get through it before it shuts on you. Touch the other side of the door and you are warped out. Also, on the other side of the door may be aggro mobs such as Cryptonberries and Hecteyes. So, with Hayly as whm, 2 smn and me as rdm, Pat came as thf with a whole load of skeleton keys to try and disarm the traps. This actually worked on about half the doors, making it much easier. If we could, we tried to pull mobs through the doors BEFORE we went through them, clearing the way. We only had to redo one door due to a nasty sleep from a hecteyes, and Cy popped it again with Ehran voking it through. After the 16 doors (we lost count after a while and just hoped for the best!) it was down an elevator and his the avatar gate at the bottom to trigger another nice cut scene.
Back to Jeuno, then suit up in uncapped gear to kill a NM in Lower Delkfutt’s Tower. 10 level 70+, and things tend not to last too long…
Next week we hope to finish Tenzen’s Path, and also do the Mithran Trackers BC before our Christmas break. Sooooo close to sea…
Pat and I have been beavering away, working on a little project for a new piece of headgear. On Sunday after CoP was finished, we headed to Kazham to start giving all the various items we had gathered to the various Opo Opo there… some were most annoying and were hard to get to, but I just wish they would stay still! Anyway, after giving out all these items, they actually wanted to make me their King! (I know, slight gender issue but meh). Opo Opo Crown is mine! Pics later.
I now have a little project to work on – get dark knight levelled to 37 as fast as possible. Diabolos with our group kind of dictates we will need a chainspell stunner: i.e. me… It is currently 14, so a looong way to go. Empress ring, various xp scrolls etc will be pumped into it. Pray for me… and thank god for worms and a xbow.
One other thing I have been doing is levelling up bst alongside Pat. As our bsts are currently 14, we have a long way to go to worry about the ‘nerf’ with leave. To be honest, we are just doing this for fun and to spend some time getting SOME xp away from lfp, which could drive anyone to drink. I have to admit, Once we get the best places to xp (we are still looking or good place at our level) it is fun – xp won’t be the fastest ever, but still fun to do – and a challenge. Time to level up cooking to 35 then skill on some more pet food!
