Happy times

kirsteenaI just wanted to say a few words about yesterday while I remember them =). I will post some pictures later, though I didn’t take too many of the actual ceremony (I was too worried about what I had to say and actually nervous!) – I did take plenty before hand.
The GM was really, really nice, and had a huge sense of humour – we were asking a question about flowers in the hair, and Aldi made a NO SUBLIGAR comment, to which she replied “Yes, I could really do without the subligar ^_^.” Hehehehehe! Also SE, give them better weapons than a level 24 sword! Honestly… But she explained things well, and made us feel at ease.
I wanted to say a few words about some people – don’t be offended if you are not included, but there are some I wanted to thank properly.
Aldric – thank you so much for chaperoning – I honestly wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to do that job. Where would we be without you (floundering through promys probably)? Thank you for the sushi and the chocolate, both mean a lot to me – and I never throw gifts from friends (though we will use the sushi no doubt).
Sarise – your unfailing enthusiasm and ability to make anyone smile are amazing (even when being woken up too early to go fight Shikigami). Basically all it takes is one jumping jax and I’m smiling. Thank you for the table – its lovely to have signed gifts from my friends. And congratulations on showing Maat who is boss!
Kabukajeo – your words and gift touched me yesterday. I am proud to call you a friend – and here’s to sea access!
Patient – well I said all I need to yesterday I guess. Thank you for your unending support, and listening when I need a friend.
Finally thanks to those who were there – Ermac, Lordishtar, Darkfury (and Mortalbane watching!), Hasan, Hayly, Witchking, Blalock, Sethe, Shadowfax, Darkdragon, Istari, and those who couldn’t make it – Teimoli, Syphus, Templer, Ehran, Mystars. You guys are the reason I log into this game.
In case anyone is wondering about what Pat and I got each other...
I got the items, and had Ehran (a 70+ goldsmither) make Pat a Noble's Crown (signed by Ehran), while Pat levelled clothcraft high enough to make me a Lilac Corsage, signed by himself. These items were the head gear we wore to the wedding ceremony.
I have to say I pity the poor people who wandered into the Chateau for quests/missions and must have been surprised to see all the fuss going on!
